Who is responsible
Legodesk Technologies Pvt Ltd, India, operates QuickNyaya and decides how personal data on the platform is used. Contact us about your data at support@quicknyay.com.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, mobile number, role and organisation.
- Case data: the claim, the parties' details, documents, evidence, statements, hearing records, orders and awards.
- Security and delivery records: sign-in times, IP address, and whether each email or message was delivered.
Why we use it
- to create and secure your account, including one-time sign-in codes;
- to run arbitration and mediation cases, and to send the parties the notices the law requires;
- to keep the record of each case, and to meet legal and audit duties;
- to protect the platform against misuse.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not send marketing email.
Who sees it
Within a case: the parties, their representatives, the appointed arbitrator or mediator, and QuickNyaya's registry staff. Outside it: our service providers, who handle data only on our instructions, chiefly Amazon Web Services (hosting and email, in the Mumbai region), and courts or authorities where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Case records are kept for as long as the law requires for arbitral records and any challenge to an award. Account data is kept while the account is open and then as the law requires. Data no longer needed is deleted.
How we protect it
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to people who need it for a case, and access to case records is logged.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or have it erased where the law allows (records of a case cannot be erased while the law requires us to keep them). You may also raise a grievance with us, and if you are not satisfied, with the Data Protection Board of India. Write to support@quicknyay.com.
Changes
We may update this notice; the date above shows the latest version, and we will tell registered users of material changes.
