Help with signing in
How signing in works, and what to do when something goes wrong.
Claimants: you sign in with a one-time password (OTP)
You have no password to remember. Enter the email or the 10-digit mobile number registered with your account, and we send the same six-digit OTP to both.
An OTP works once and expires in ten minutes. You can ask for a new one after a minute, and then only the newest one works.
The OTP has not arrived
Check the email or mobile number you entered is the one registered with us. For your privacy the page looks the same whether or not an account exists, so a mistyped address gets no OTP and no warning.
Look in your spam folder, wait a minute, then use “Resend the OTP”.
No account yet? Create one.
Too many wrong attempts
Five wrong attempts lock the account for 15 minutes. It opens again by itself; then ask for a new OTP.
You no longer have the email or the phone
Ask the registry to restore your access. It checks who you are before the account is given a new email or mobile number.
Arbitrators and staff: password and authenticator app
You sign in with your password and then the six-digit code from your authenticator app.
Forgotten the password? We email a reset link that works once and expires in 30 minutes. Resetting the password does not reset the authenticator.
Lost the phone with the authenticator? Use one of the recovery codes you were given when you set it up. If you have none left, the registry resets it for you.
You received a notice
You do not need an account to read a notice or reply to it. Open it with the reference printed on the notice and a code we send to the contact recorded for you.
A sign-in that was not you
We email you when a sign-in fails from a device we have not seen on your account before. If it was not you, sign in, open the Security page and sign out everywhere.
Nobody at QuickNyaya will ever ask you to read out an OTP, a password or an authenticator code.
